Kevin was published in the Washington State Housing Finance Commission’s Feb 2015 Newsletter (5th article down). He is passionate about the fact that ‘affordable housing’ includes working and middle income families, not just those that require subsidy. Kevin was the Vice Chair of the Affordable Housing Advisory Board, appointed by Governor Gregoire, the re-appointed by Governor Inslee, Kevin represented the for-profit rental housing owners designation on the Board. During his involvement as Vice Chair the AHAB secured funding and saw the completion of a data driven needs study by County, or City or Metro area, providing better grounding of the allocation decision making process for State capital allocations for low income housing development assistance.
