Meet Kevin
Kevin has helped businesses lease or purchase over 3.5 million square feet of professional office, tech, and light industrial space. Working mostly in Puget Sound markets, he has also completed projects from Eugene to Bellingham and Spokane. Clients range from early stage to regional offices of international US, European and Japanese firms. Kevin's thoughtful process of understanding his clients needs and helping them with net present analysis of
options, as well as developing subjective force ranking matrix to provide some structure to the decision making process.
Working around real estate it's natural to want to invest in and develop it. As a long term advocate of "single agency" relationships with clients, it was important to avoid any conflicts of interest with his business lease negotiation clients. To minimize conflicts, Kevin has invested in multi-family and mixed multi-family-over-retail projects in Tacoma, Edmonds and Seattle. He has completed "BuiltGreen4" townhomes in Fremont, was part of a team getting a permit-ready project for apartments over reatail in Edmonds and completed multiple acquisition/turnaround projects in Tacoma, including a historic rehab of the Kellogg Sicker Pochert project, a key revitalization project of the Hilltop neighborhood (aka Medical Mile).
With triple-bottom-line philosophy, Kevin helps his clients and partners achieve multiple objectives - people, planet and profit goals.
Outside of real estate, Kevin supports his community and stays involved in working to make a difference. Appointed by three different Governors and approved by the State Senate, Kevin has been appointed to serve as a Trustee of Shoreline College, and was the Vice Chair of the Affordable Housing Advisory Board, At the local level, he's Chaired numerous City and Regional task forces and committees related to planning, transportation and led both neighborhood and business district groups. He was also elected to Shoreline City Council and served as Deputy Mayor. In each of these roles, Kevin increased participation and stakeholder engagement and brought fiscal accountability to the organizations, often as a finance committee chair.
With an MBA from the University of Washington's Foster School of Business and over a thousand hours of continuing education, Kevin's formal education compliments his rich direct work experiences with education from highly respected academic leaders and industry mentors.
This range of background allows Kevin to be valuable help to a wide range of companies, individuals and organizations in making successful decisions and implementing them.
