Housing and
Economic Policy

Affordability, Home Ownership, Economic Development

Kevin Grossman is active in housing issues as a volunteer and consultant.

As a board member of the King County Housing Partnership, a housing policy think tank, Kevin has assisted with the development of materials to inform elected officials and planning and development staff regarding housing alternatives, density and affordability. He’s spoken to planners and builders on the political backdrop that can inhibit sound housing policy implementation.

Kevin is a board member for Parkview Services, a housing developer and provider for the developmentally disabled in King County. Kevin has led the Affordable Housing program area of the Board, supporting the acquisition and modification of over $15 million in homes for this special population.

Housing is fundamentally impacted by the economy, so Kevin is also involved in economic development policy and is involved in Forward Shoreline, an economic development group promoting living wage job growth in the City of Shoreline (where Kevin was previously the Deputy Mayor).

Kevin’s financial, real estate and public policy background combine to allow him to provide financially and politically pragmatic assessments and recommendations for both private developers as well as public entities planning for housing and economic development.
